For the Love of Blood

Manuel lives and works in a small car body shop in Tijuana. By day he fixes cars, by night he turns into one of the most fearless and extreme wrestler of Mexico: Juventud Dosmil, "El Loco de Tulancingo". Not only is he the most fearless luchador from Tijuana, he’s also one of the kindest and soft-spoken people I have ever met. I was immediately drawn to this duality. How can a man so sweet decide to step into a ring, smash into broken glass and barbwire, and wear the scars on his body like a trophy? I haven’t found the answer yet, but with this project I aim to introduce you to his world, where pain, violence, passion, and a certain kind of innocence meet.
